SERENITY 2 MOVIE

Tudyk says the newly-released “Serenity : Special Edition“ DVD has been selling so hot, that there’s talk in doing another movie. This pretty much sealed the fate of the Serenity/Firefly franchise and it has been understood that there would be no sequel.īut wait a second! Strong sales of the Serenity special DVD have some folks at the studio thinking that a Serenity 2 might be a good idea! The folks at Moviehole give us this: when they DO put out something as brilliant as Serentiy, they don’t go support it). Sadly the show was pulled after only 12 episodes, but later appeared as ONE OF THE BEST SCI FI MOVIES IN THE LAST 10 YEARS! Serenity.įor various reasons, Serenity woefully BOMBED at the boxoffice (this is one of the big reasons I laugh when people complain that Hollywood doesn’t do anything original anymore…. It was cleaver, funny, exciting… everything you could want in a Sci Fi show along with some terrific characters. Firefly was a show unappreciated by the stupid network it was on.
